Pen drawings

I started this new job around a month ago in a call center. Its not all bad, the people I've met are by far some of the coolest and it gives me time to draw. All that I had available at first was a black pen and scrap paper. Turns out drawing in pen is an absolute blast. I'm starting to get the hang of cross hatching.

 Click on them to enlarge for a better view. Unfortunately due to the nature of pen and scrap paper my scans are all affected by the light and the way the thin paper warps.

Clay Creations

April 27th there will be a fundraiser called Art for Alzheimer in historic olde Walkerville area, in Windsor Ontario. I will have a booth there and will be selling prints, greeting cards, caricatures and handmade jewellery. Here are a few of the pieces I'll be selling.

Emotional Flour Sack

A 2D assignment completed during my second year of animation school at St. Clair college. Completed using the traditional style of drawing on paper. The goal of this assignment was to Animate a featureless flour sack and give it 3 emotions.

Character Pose Sheet

This is my little skater kid character. I drew him in 6 different poses.

This is just clean lines, no colouring yet. Hes a fun character to draw. I don't have much character design experience so I'm really trying to push myself. A few more character designs should be on its way soon. Keep an eye out for them in the next few weeks.
